The Health Visiting team would like to understand the experience parents have had with the service during the Covid pandemic. We also welcome your views on the changes to the service that have been made due to the pandemic. These have included offering virtual appointments, ChatHealth which is a secure text messaging system, the suspension of baby clinics and breastfeeding groups as well as the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
The Health Visiting service is available to all families in North East Lincolnshire who are expecting a baby, have a new born or a child up to the age of 5. A health visitor is a registered nurse or midwife and have been trained in public health; they provide advice and support at this important time for parents and their child.
